Passengers
Passage timetable
Four runs a day through the Bridgmoor flight, tea included, ducks not guaranteed.
The run
Every passage boards at Bridgmoor Basin, climbs the twenty-seven locks of the flight as far as time allows, turns at the top of Lock 9 or Lock 14, and comes back down with the water's opinion of your questions already formed. The full round trip is 70 minutes to Lock 9; walkers may leave at any lock and boot it back along the towpath.
| Run | Departs | Turns at | Duration | Fare |

Fares are fictional and nothing can be booked: this site demonstrates design, not commerce.
What to bring
A coat with a hood, shoes that forgive a towpath, and questions about the locks. The tea urn does the rest.
Hard frost stops the canal
Locks ice their gates shut. If the flag at the basin is down, the day is off and the tea urn is in the yard instead.
Step aboard steadily
All boats board from the basin pontoon at towpath level. Tell the crew what help you need; they have heard everything and mind none of it.
